<p>A multi-application stored-value financial card is provided. By a internal number of the stored-value financial card, the system authenticates whether the stored-value financial card is correct or not. If the internal number is correct, the action of deducting money or adding value is carried out, and the information is returned to the system. The value is stored into a memory in the chip through I/O. At the system side, the action of deducting money or storing value will be recorded. The action of adding value can be done at the ATM which is near to the customer without using the cash. The stored value can be limited so as to enable a customer to give the card to children as pocket money conveniently. The stored-value financial card can also be used to dial a public telephone without buying a phone card, or to take vehicles without the trouble of preparing dibs, or to pay the bill in the shop. The stored-value financial card has a multi-application function to enable a customer to go out without carrying a lot of cards with him so as to reduce the risk of losing cards.</p> |
