Measurement coil esp for use in oscillator loop e.g. for machine monitoring

The coil has at least one coil winding of wound wire. The wire is made of an alloy of highly conductive material with at least one material from the 3rd and/or 4th row of the periodic table. The material is preferably a copper alloy with 1 to 13 per cent manganese. A heat conductor may be connected in series with the coil in the oscillator loop. Also or alternatively a cold conductor is connected in parallel with the coil. The coil may be used in an eddy current detector. The temperature dependence is measured and the temperature control is adjusted accordingly.
