First and second members 10, 26 are secured together by an attachment arrangement which includes a bolt 32, having a threaded shank and an enlarged head 36, press fitted part way into an aperture of the second member so that the head can engage a keyhole slot 16 in the first member. A nut 46 engages the threaded shank to axially pull the press fitted portion of the shank and draw the engaged head against the first member to secure the first and second members together. The press fitted portion of the shank preferably has splines 38 to resist bolt rotation and promote axial movement during tightening of the nut. In addition, the nut preferably has an unthreaded bore portion which is larger than the splines of the shank so that the nut may be fully threaded on to the bolt without the splines interfering with the nut. A pair of bolts/slots can be employed. |
