FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: disclosed method refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Long-continued delivery of active retinoid to posterior pole of mammal's eye enables treatment or prevention of proliferative vitreoretinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and pigmentary retinopathy.
