PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize a putter for a golfer who adopts an intermediate putting style between stroke putting and tap putting by positioning a passing point of a shaft toward a toe side than the gravity center in the vertical direction of the putter head and positioning it toward the back side than the passing point in the depth direction. SOLUTION: When a crossing point of a central axis X of a shaft part, whose grip is fixed in such a state that a putter club 1 is held at the ready for hitting a ball usually, with a horizontal face H, which passes the gravity center G of a putter head 2, is set as a passing point S of the putter head 2, the passing point S is positioned toward a toe 6 side than the gravity center G of the patter head 2. When the direction from the face 8 of the putter head 2 to the back side is set the depth direction of the putter head 2, the gravity center G of the putter head 2 is positioned toward the back side than the passing point S of a shaft 3 in the depth direction of the putter head 2. Then horizontal face H is approximately parallel to the face of a sole 12 on a face in parallel to the flat ground surface.
|
