FOAMED MORTAR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamed mortar which does not defoam even when a fly ash is added and which is stable till specified strength is obtd. SOLUTION: A slurry is preferably by adding 40 to 100 pts.wt. of water to 100 pts.wt. of a hardening agent consisting of cement and fly ash an adding 0.5 to 5 pts.wt. of an antidefoaming agent to 100 pts.wt. of the hardening agent. Foam having >0.03 specific gravity are produced by introducing minute bubbles of air into a soln. of a foaming agent having <=0.5wt.% concn. and are mixted to the slurry in the range of slurry/foam volume ratio from 80/20 to 30/70.
