In a video monitor especially appropriate for using in a vehicle for carrying passengers, e.g. a bus. The chassis 1 of this monitor is formed of an assembly of metal strips of varying widths joined together by welding, with no sharp edges, this chassis being subsequently covered with a flexible spongy material to give rise to the formation of a body 5 whose front part is finished off with a front frame 7 constructed in the same way, which is fastened to the body 5 by means of suitable screws and whose fitting involves the insertion of a perimeter projection 10 of the edge of the front frame 7 into a perimeter groove 9 of the front edge of the said body 5. <IMAGE>
