This invention refers to an improved reservoir for storing water or treatment plants, essentially comprising a wall based on a composite system: including a basic metallic membrane made of pintro or black steel sheet, with reinforcing steel on both surfaces, for receiving ejected concrete, in the exterior of which a pre-stressing cable is placed, which is stressed according to a calculation, after a concave cover of the reinforced concrete is placed. A last layer of ejected concrete is subsequently received on the exterior to coat the cable. A system, which flexibility is capable to absorb contractions and deformations due to changes on temperature, reservoir filling, and draining thereof; because it does not have any casting seam, it does not present any filtration, nor water leaks, thereby constituting an impervious system. It is a flexible system under hydraulic and hydrodynamic pressures action, due to which its good performance and imperviousness is guaranteed.
