FIELD: plastic metal working, in particular, hand tool for cutting of wire, bars, rods of lock-sealing devices. SUBSTANCE: hand shears have blades interconnected by strips, body, transmission mechanism and two handles, one of which is rotatable and the other is rigidly attached to the body. The transmission mechanism is a ratchet quadrant installed on an axle in the body and connected by the axle to the free end of one of the blades, two spring-loaded pawls are engaged with the ratchet quadrant. The pawls are fitted on pivots secured on the end of the rotatable handle, the pivot that is nearer to the ratchet quadrant connects this handle to the body. The body is linked to the free end of the other blade by means of a tie. EFFECT: improved design. 3 dwg. |
