FIELD: radio communication, wire lines which provide phase modulation of carrier frequency. SUBSTANCE: method involves generation of two phase-spaced channels so that detected output voltage in channel phase detectors are in opposite polarity and total output voltage of demodulator is generated by means of their relative subtraction in subtraction unit. This results in addition of absolute values of relatively inverse channel signals after subtraction unit at output of demodulator and signal voltage is increased, while channel signals of same polarity are added in their absolute value after subtraction unit at output of demodulator and signal voltage is increased, while noise level is decreased. This increases signal- noise ratio and provides possibility to detect noise receiving errors caused by alternation in polarity of arbitrary detected voltage of channel phase detector. Said errors are related to single-polarity output voltage levels of channel phase detectors. In addition method provides possibility to test quality of communication channel.
