The invention refers to an external detachable low-voltage separator with fuses used in aerial power supply systems in rural and urban areas, which is mounted directly on a pole or wall and is operated manually from the ground, by means of an insulating stick. The separator is made up of a modulated insulating case (1), on which fixed contacts (2) and blow-out chutes (3) are fixed. Cross-ties (4 and 8) are used to secure the modules of the insulating case (1), two side metallic supports (5), two side metallic walls (6) that secure the separator to the pole or wall, the modules of the insulating cover (9), on which fuse plugs (10) are fixed, metallic flanges (7) that are equipped at one end with some protuberances (b) which rotate inside the sockets (a) of the metallic flanges (7). The separator is locked in the closed position by a locking system which opens evenly and easily when operated manually, and has a high degree of protection ensured by means of a seal (14) and packing seals (15).
