The shade is used residentially for the utilization of solarenergy. It consists of a cylindrical shaft (1) lying on axles (4),fixed to the upper ends of two beams (5). Fasteners (9) are fittedon short axles in the lower ends of the latter between which a rod(10) is fitted. Shaft (1) and rod (10) are connected to an energyabsorber (17). Shaft (1) is connected to a gear train.
