The inner and outer profiles (2,3) along from the first and second locating surfaces (14-16) and (24-29) are connected to one another on the inner and outer profiles. If the outer profile is damaged, a first step is performed, in which the outer profile is removed from the inner profile, leaving at least parts of the first locating surfaces. In a second stage, a replacement profile (34), the same shape as the outer profile, which has matching locating surfaces to the first locating surfaces of the inner profile, is placed on the inner profile. In a third stage, the replacement profile and the inner profile are joined to one another along their locating surfaces.
