The device has a continuous transport chain or band (2) with workpiece holders (3) which take the brushes from an entry point to a stuffing machine (6). The holders can also take the brushes onto a post-processing point if need be. The holder and brush can move relative to the stuffing machine's stuffing tool (8). There are decoupling regions (9,10) on the band where slack can be given or taken from the band to allow this movement.
