1. A method for identifying a faulty battery, comprising:
extracting a log from an electronic device having a battery, the log having a record of battery charge events including a battery serial number, a battery status, and a battery voltage; obtaining a battery serial number of the battery installed on the electronic device; for each battery charge event recorded in the log, determining if the battery charge event indicates the battery is out of tolerance; indicating to a technician whether the battery should be replaced if the battery is determined to be out of tolerance. |
