<p>PURPOSE:To provide an inner surface sealing jig which can vacuum seal a pipe end tightly with the inner surface of the pipe end not finished but kept rough. CONSTITUTION:Circular tubes 20a, 20b are aligned in the direction of a pipe axis and mounted on the outer surface of the end of a supporting rod 10 inserted into the end of a pipe 1. Pressurized air is supplied into a ventilating hole 11 provided in the axial portion of the supporting rod 10 to inflate the tubes 20a, 20b to press the outer surfaces of the tubes into contact with the inner surface of the pipe end. No liquid seal is applied to the outer surface of the tube 20a located at the end of the pipe, and a liquid seal is applied to the outer surface of the tube 20b located at the other end. Since the end tube 20a to which no liquid seal is applied functions as a binding tube, an inner surface sealing jig is not extracted out of the pipe end even under a vacuum seal. The other tube 20b to which liquid seal is applied seals the inner surface of the pipe end tightly.</p> |
