<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the ultrasonic touch panel which is driven with low power consumption, simple in way of supporting, and easy to use and senses a touch with high sensitivity. SOLUTION: When an electric signal is inputted from an interdigital electrode T, a surface acoustic wave is excited nearby the surface of a piezoelectric ceramic plate 1 where respective interdigital electrodes are provided and propagated to a non-piezoelectric plate 2. The surface acoustic wave which is propagated to the non-piezoelectric plate 2 is converted into an electric signal, which is outputted from an interdigital electrode R. When a touch on the non- piezoelectric plate 2 is made, the output electric signal is ceased to exist or attenuated.</p> |
