PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passage control system and passage control method capable of reducing vehicles with excessive axle loads.SOLUTION: A passage control system comprises a notification part, a determination part and a passage control part. The notification part instructs a driver of an object vehicle with an excessive axle load to exit from a prescribed exit tollgate on the basis of a detection result of axle load excess of vehicles at an entrance tollgate of a toll road. The determination part is provided at an exit tollgate and determines whether or not the exit tollgate corresponds to the prescribed exit tollgate at the time of entrance of the object vehicle. The passage control part is provided at the exist tollgate, permits passage of the object vehicle when the exit tollgate corresponds to the prescribed exit tollgate and prohibits passage of the object vehicle when the exit tollgate does not correspond to the prescribed exit tollgate on the basis of the determination result of the determination part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
