PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoreceptor unit that can reduce a situation where a separation state between a photoreceptor and a charging roller is unintendedly released even when a separation member has moved in a direction separating from the photoreceptor.SOLUTION: A photoreceptor unit includes a separation member that can rotate between a separation position to maintain a state where a photoreceptor and a charging roller are separated from each other because of engagement of an engaging part that can engage with a gear rotating in association with rotation of the photoreceptor to receive a driving force, and a release position to release the separation state to allow the photoreceptor and the charging roller to come into contact with each other. The separation member is pressed and supported by a support member while located at the release position; the separation member has a shape such that the direct distance between the rotation axis and the support member pressing the separation member increases while rotating toward the release position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
