摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple type current detecting means by detecting the voltage through a Hall element in the center of an air coil to detect the load current and controlling the operation of a d-c reactor cooler according to the detected current as well as monitoring the condition of the reactor. SOLUTION: A d-c load current flows to generate a magnetic field in the center of a coil 11 having a Hall element 54 inside. This element generates a Hall voltage when the current and magnetization are applied. The Hall voltage is proportional to the pass current in a d-c reactor and number of windings of the coil 11 and hence the pass current in the reactor is detected from the Hall voltage and available for selecting the number of coolers according to the load ratio and monitoring failures. Thus the current detecting means uses the Hall element 54 to detect the current from the magnetic field intensity in the coil 11, thereby providing a very simple structure of the d-c reactor and hence a small size and simple d-c reactor monitor controller.</p>
