PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute monitor, test and/or a relating activity of an overall optical communication system at a site where an interconnection module is in existence by using a distributed intelligence interconnection module. SOLUTION: The system is provide with a distributed frame, and the distributed frame has at least one shelf 12 or 14, and at least one interconnection module 16 or 18 that is connected in the inside of at least the one shelf in an operation enable way and adapted to connect optically 1st optical channels 32, 34, 36 to 2nd optical channels 42, 44, 46. The interconnection modules 16, 18 are adapted to include a micro controller able to confirm at least one operation characteristic of the system. |
