PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a subject eluent which can efficiently eluteβ-glucan or peptide glycan which are stuck or adsorbed to solid surface and cannot be eluted with water or physiological saline solution by adding albumen, globulin or the like to the eluent. SOLUTION: Albumen (for example, human serum albumen) or globulin is dissolved in water such as injection water and the concentration of the protein is adjusted to >=0.0001mg/ml, preferably 0.0001-6.00mg/ml, more preferably 0.02-3.00mg/ml whereby the objective eluent for (1→3)β-D-glucan and/or peptide glycan which is useful as a detergent for vessels and apparatus contaminated with (1→3)β-D-glucan and/or peptide glycan which cannot be eluted with water or physiological saline solution is obtained.
