<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repeater in which path information is dynamically set while saving address space. SOLUTION: The repeater is provided with a memory 23 which stores a port state table and a path information table registering a network address assigned normally, a port number being a substitute source when the network address is used for other number, its network address, and a substitute flag setting whether or not the network address is substituted and a central control section 210 conducting dynamic path control, a network address is assigned only to one port and a network address is not assigned normally to another port and a network address assigned regularly is substituted to conduct dynamic path control.</p> |
