PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce packaging man-hours for a circuit board by suppressing a fall or deformation of external connection terminals which is apt to occur, when connector terminals are fastened to an insulator, in the case of a connector made up by fastening the plurality of connector terminals to the insulator. SOLUTION: In this connector, a plurality of connector terminals, one end of each of which is a plate-shaped contact connected to a counterpart connector and in each of which a part beyond an insulator-fastening part adjoining this contact is an external connection terminal that narrows toward one side in the width direction of this insulator-fastening part, are fastened to this insulator by thrusting pressure which is generated by a thrusting jig at a shoulder part produced at the time of formation of this external connection terminal. In this case, the connector terminals 211 are constructed so as to be equipped each with a projection 211a projecting toward the thrusting jig in a position, corresponding to a widthwise center line L of the insulator-fastening part 111c of the shoulder part 211b.
|
