PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical disk apparatus in which an objective lens is covered with a simple structure and which prevents the lens from being contaminated by installing a shutter of the objective lens, which is operated so as to be interlocked with the feeding mechanism of an optical pickup, so as to freely move. SOLUTION: When a disk is taken out, a CD 38 is moved to a pulling-out position by a disk tray. At the same time, an optical pickup 7 is moved to the front on a mechanism chassis 3 by a feeding mechanism 9, it reaches a front position, but its movement is contained even when a limit switch 39 is turned on. In addition, when it is moved, the engagement of a rack gear 13 at a rack part 11 with a pinion gear 14 is disengaged, and only a slider 18 is engaged with a rack gear 25. Consequently, the pinion gear 14 is turned, an action protrusion 26 is moved to the front, and a force is transmitted to a shutter 33. As a result, the shutter 33 is turned around a shaft 31, a main part 34 is moved on the surface 30 of a case body 29 so as to cover a hole 32, and an objective lens 28 is closed. Thereby, the lens is protected with a simple structure. |
