PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the toner scattering of a developing device. SOLUTION: An air hole 60 is formed to a drift plate 48 to regulate the flow of a developer in a casing 41, so as to release the pressur in a space A. An air hole 64 to take in the outer air is formed along the front surface of a doctor 47 by communicating a negative pressure space C formed at the pront side of the doctor 47 and the outer air, so as to relax the negative pressure in the negative pressure space C. And, the form of the lower edge of an opening 43 is changed in the longitudinal direction in order to make the toner scattering optimum, and the rotation starting timings of the first and the second stirring rollers 45 and 46 are delayed slower than the rotation starting timing of a developing roller 44. |
