摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily and flexibly generate a machining process chart by utilizing CAD component figures by providing a machining area generating means which generate a machining area shape based upon an outline shape and raw material shapes, a machining area editing means which generates a machining process chart by editing the machining area, etc. SOLUTION: A figure input means 101 inputs component graphics and raw- material graphics to be processed, and generates and stores graphic element data in table form consisting of graphic element IDs, graphic element kinds, and geometric values in a data storage means 105. Further, an external outline shape and a hole outline shape are generated from inputted graphic element data on component graphic to generate graphic element list data consisting of list IDs, graphic kinds, and constituent graphic elements, and the data are stored in a data storage means 105. The graphic element data are properly referred to in the graphic processing of the graphic input means 101, a graphic attribute setting means 102, a machining area generating means 103, and a machining area editing means 104 to perform addition and update at need.</p>
