PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highpolymer electrolyte excellent heat resistance, high in stability and safety because no solvent is substantially included, and also high in ionic conductivity, and also provide high polymer electrolyte which is excellent in heat resistance, stability and safety as mentioned above, and furthermore excellent in solvent resistance, and high in ionic conductivity. SOLUTION: This highpolymer electrolyte is mainly composed of polyvinyl acetal and ionic dissociative salt, and is substantially formed out of solid portions. As polyvinyl acetal, it is maily composed of the constitutional units of polyvinyl formal and/or polyvinyl butyral. A ratio of ionic dissociative salt by weight to polyvinyl acetal shall be 1 to 10. The aforesaid chemical is adapted to electrolyte for electrochemical devices used for lithium second battery and the like. |
