FIELD: production of ferroalloys, in particular, silicocalcium. SUBSTANCE: method includes charging of metal-containing additives into furnace and their melting, and then charging of mixture containing of lime, ferrosilicon and flux; melting and reduction of mixture at temperature of 1400-1550 C. Flux is used in the form of alumina-containing material. In reduction, lime-to-alumina-containing material ratio is maintained equal to 1:(0.20-0.50) with consumption of alumina-containing materials of 200-500 kg per ton of alloy. EFFECT: reduced alloy losses with slag in form of metal shots by 2-4 times; improved quality of metal due to reduced degree of segregation of elements and increased content of calcium and decreased power consumption by 350-500 kWh. 2 cl, 1 tblo
