PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with high mounting accuracy on a back panel connector by installing a positioning means in X and Y-directions in a board connector inserting in a second housing and a first housing of a back panel connector. SOLUTION: A first housing and a second housing 12 which has an accepting space of a connector plug 3, having an optical fiber 4 are assembled, and a back panel connector 1 is obtained. The back panel connector 1 is mounted on a back panel 42, and a board connector 2 for mounting on a printed circuit board is inserted in the first housing for connection. An insertion space of a connector plug 3 is formed in a third housing 28 of the board connector 2. In this connector system, the second housing 12 is fixed to the first housing, so as to be capable of sliding in the Z-direction, vertical to a hole on the bottom surface of the first housing. A positioning means in X and Y-directions comprising a guide projection 40 formed in the side wall of the second housing 12 and a guide groove 39 formed in the side wall of the third housing 28, which jointly operates with the guide projection 40, are arranged. |
