PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the CDMA(code division multiplex access) multi-user receiver of multi-stage configuration by reducing remarkably the scale of a storage device and improving the interference elimination characteristic in the case of multi-path propagation. SOLUTION: N sets of users are divided into N groups (or N or below) by using M-stages of receivers 1-m and interference elimination processing is conducted from a high-order group with a higher level in each divided group in the series configuration, an interference elimination section (ICU) 2-m-n receives an error signal obtained in the interference elimination processing of a pre-stage final group and an interference replica of the user of a pre-stage same level group in the interference elimination processing of the current stage pre-group or in the case of a highest order group and estimates again the interference replica of the user of the current stage of the same level group and outputs a spread signal relating to a difference between the interference replica of the user of the current stage of the same level group and the interference level of the user of the pre-stage of the same level group. A delay device (D) 3-m-n delays the error signal by a prescribed value and an adder 4-m-n subtracts the spread signal from the output signal of the delay device (D) 3-m-n and provides an output of an updated error signal. |
