A small-sized switch for high frequency which has a desired high-frequency characteristic and can be produced at high productivity is constituted by respectively arranging insulating walls (14 and 15) made of a dielectric material between a shield plate (24) provided on the backside of contacts (21a and 23a) and the fixed contacts (21a and 23a) counterposed to a movable contact pieces (51b) so that the piece (51b) can be brought into contact with and separated from the contacts (21a and 23a).
