Electrical socket for connecting trailer to vehicle

The socket has a mechanism that is displaced by inserting the plug of a trailer. In doing so, it disconnects the vehicle's rear fog lights. The socket's housing has an actuator pin (7) which moves a leaf spring (9) with a contact at the end (21), and so effects disconnection. The spring is fixed to a bush (12) and this has a pin (15) that latches into the socket housing (17).
