Apparatus for stimulation of corpora cavernosa penis

An apparatus (1) for the stimulation of the corpora cavernosa penis using a number of variably spaced electrodes is employed for the re-training and treatment of muscular disfunction, e.g. after pelvic operations or the correction of prolapsed disc. A hip-belt (6) supports a battery powered pulse generator (2) which energises the electrodes (10) carried by the holder (4) and sleeves (9) via a connector (5). The field intensities and their configuration are variable in terms of amplitude, pulse duration and frequency via the controller/signal transmitter (3) and a subcutaneous equivalent is also proposed.
