The lever lock has an electro magnetic lock slide to retain the transmission in the parking position and the neutral position. The locking slide (8,9) for the gear lever overlies the axial end in the direction of the lock slide to grip, in the park position, through a spring (3) loaded anchor of an electromagnet. There are two supports (10,11) for the locking slides attached to the gear lever and overlying the longitudinal axis of the magnetic anchor. The magnetic anchor, by its activation through electric flow over a lever coupling release a lock slide from a recess in the lever.
