Cold deforming device for circumferential region of cylindrical workpiece

The cold deformation device has lubricant supplied to the workpiece (2) as its cold deforming tools (4,5) are moving on the workpiece. This lubricant is in the form of a paste. The tools are automatically mechanically cleaned at intervals. The cold deforming tools may be in the form of roll chucks with devices (6) to smooth and shape the workpiece. These devices, e.g. roll teeth, may be mechanically cleaned by brushes (8) on a brush device (11) acted on by one of the roll chuck feed devices.
