PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat-resistant elastomer compsn. excellent in resistances to heat and cold, physical properties, and moldability by compounding a thermoplastic elastomer contg. a condensation polymer as the hard segment with a specified amt. of a specific fluoropolymer. SOLUTION: This compsn. is prepd. by mixing 10-90wt.% thermoplastic elastomer contg. a condensation polymer as the hard segment with 90-10wt.% fluoropolymer which has an m. p. lower than that of the elastomer or does not have m. p. Pref. the fluoropolymer comprises at least one polymer selected from among a tetrafluoroethylene-propylene copolymer, a vinylidene fluoride- hexafluoropropylene-tetrafluoroethylene terpolymer, a vinylidene fluoride- hexafluoropropylene copolymer, an ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer, and polymers obtd. by modifying these fluoropolymers by copolymn. An arom. polyester resin is pref. as the condensation polymer. |
