<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently arrange information except codes such as regular characters and pictures, and coded multimedia information to be printed and recorded on a print medium. SOLUTION: A dot code generation section 110 receives multimedia information to be coded and generates dot codes. A medium size detection section 112 detects a size of a record paper based on print information. A print position setting section 114 stores print positions of the dot codes corresponding to the various sizes of the media and outputs them to a system control section 116. The system control section 116 determines the print position of the dot code corresponding to the size of the print paper detected by the medium size detection section 112 on the basis of information inputted from the print position setting section 114. The system control section 116 edits and synthesizes the dot codes generated by the dot code generation section 110 and print information for the record paper given from a personal computer 106 and prints out it by means of a printer 122.</p> |
