PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve driving stability by reinforcing a bead section without increasing weight, lowering comfortableness and substantially increasing production cost. SOLUTION: In a radial tire provided with a carcass ply 8 comprising a radial cord layer, a bead filler 6 arranged in a bead section 1 and a bead reinforcing layer 7, the bead reinforcing layer 7 is held by the body of the carcass ply 8 and the bead filler 6, and the upper end of the bead reinforcing layer 7 is arranges so as to extend to a position of 30 to 80% of the height of the cross section of the tire along the body of the carcass ply 8, and the upper end of the bead reinforcing layer 7 is arranged outside the upper end of the bead filler 6 in a radial direction, and the bead reinforcing layer 7 comprises a rubber coated layer comprising organic fiber cords whose modulus of elasticity ranges from 700 to 1500kg/mm<2> arranged and buried in coating rubber. |
