PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the curing contraction of an epoxy resin using 1,3-bis(N,N- diglycidylaminomethyl)cyclohexane. SOLUTION: This epoxy resin composition for casting and its cured product comprises the below-described components (1), (2), (3), (4). The component (1) is a low viscosity epoxy resin containing 1,3-bis(N,N-diglycidylaminomethyl) cyclohexane as a main component and having a viscosity of <=50 poises at 25 deg.C; the component (2) is a liquid alicyclic diamine (e.g. isophoronediamine); the component (3) is a phenolic compound (e.g. bisphenol A); and the component (4) is metal powder having an average particle diameter of 0.1-100μm (e.g. aluminum powder). Therein, the ratio of the epoxy equivalent of the component (1)/the active hydrogen equivalent of the component (2) is 10/3 to 10/15. The component (3) is contained in an amount of 0.1-20 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the component (1). The component (4) is contained in an amount of 200-500 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the total amount of the components (1), (2) and (3).
