<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To purify air by carrying a nitrogen based, material-removing chemical on a carrier to form an air purifying filter and allowing a nitrogen based material in air to contact with the carrier to decomposed and remove the nitrogen based material. SOLUTION: In the filter used for an air purifier or the like installed indoor or outdoor, the carrier such as active carbon or zeolite easily adsorbing the nitrogen based material is used. The nitrogen based material removing-chemical such as ferrous sulfate, EDTA.2K is carried on the carrier. Thus, when the nitrogen based material such as NO2 in air is brought into contact with the resultant carrier, NO2 reacts with the chemical to be reduced to H2 and released in air. Air is purified by removing the nitrogen based material in this way.</p> |
