PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery with a pair of rotationally movable handles on a cover as the upper face of an external case capable of preventing damage to the handles exposed to the upper face of the cover, when mounted with presser fixtures for immobilizing. SOLUTION: Each of handles 30 has an arm 31 rotationally moved around a fulcrum axial line and a rod handle portion 32 ranging to the free end thereof. On the upper face of a cover 20, a recessed-fitting portion 40 is formed in a position, located inside from the side edge on the upper face to store the handles 30 in a laid-down state. An protuberant portion 11 with a peak as high as the upper face is formed in a space to the side edge, outside of the recessed fitting portion 40. |
