PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a holographic display device excellent in the quality of displayed picture by providing a projector with a means for correcting the aberration of displayed picture. SOLUTION: The hologram 1 is a reflection type hologram produced by substantially forming a real image on the diffusion surface of a diffusion plate on hologram photosensitive material, making it into an object wave so that either surface side of the hologram photosensitive material may be irradiated therewith, and irradiating the other surface side with a reference wave. This hologram 1 is arranged so as not to orthogonally cross the optical axis 7 of light going toward the hologram 1 from the projector 6. Then, the displayed picture projected from the projector 6 is made incident on the hologram at an incident angleθi. The projector 6 is provided with the means for correcting the aberration of the picture formed on the hologram surface, and the displayed picture projected from the projector 6 is previously deformed so that distortion viewed by an observer may be cancelled and a display body is inclined to the optical axis of the projector 6.
