PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent sponge balls from flowing out. SOLUTION: The first collection screen 14a and the second collection screen 14b have receiving racks 24 and are separately hoisted and lowered by winding machines 40a and 40b. If a sponge ball is collected by pulling up the first screen 14a, the second screen 14b is placed together with the first screen 14a in a water conduit 12 by lowering the second screen 14b and, after the placement of the second screen 14b for the water conduit 12 has been finished, the first screen 14a is pulled up. If the screen 14a is pulled up, the sponge ball caught between the screens is dropped on the receiving racks 24 by a pushing-out fin 50a. The sponge ball on the receiving racks 24 is carried away to collection pit by the washing water from a washing nozzle and is collected in the pit. The second screen 14b is pulled up in a similar way after the first screen 14a is placed in the water conduit 12. |
