PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the circuit to quickly discriminate carrier phase synchronization even under the presence of a noise or a reflected wave or the like. SOLUTION: A comparator 5 provides an output of 1 when an error signal from a phase synchronization circuit is smaller than a threshold level 3 and provides an output of 0 in other cases, and the results of the outputs are accumulated bin an accumulator 7. A comparator 25 provides an output of 1 when an output from the accumulator 7 is larger than a threshold level 27 and provides an output of 0 to a discrimination selector 51 in other cases. Number of error detection signals from a packet decoder is detected by an error detector 35 and the result is transferred to a register 41 by a timing signal 39 from a counter 37. A comparator 43 provides an output of 1 when an output from the register 41 is smaller than a threshold level 45 and provides an output of 0 in other cases to a discrimination selector 51. The discrimination selector 51 receives an output from the comparator 25 as a selection signal 59 via an inverter 53 and a register 57 and selects an output of the comparator 25 or the comparator 42 based on the selection signal 59. |
