IN-PIPE INSERTED TYPE ULTRASONIC PROBE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-pipe inserted ultrasonic probe that can improve rotating efficiency and inserting performance while reducing wetted places. SOLUTION: A tip part of a carrier cable 1 is provided with a slip ring integrated ultrasonic motor 4 with a motor part 6 and a slip ring 7 arranged in this order from the front side and with a hollow rotating shaft 6a longitudinally piercing the motor part 6 and fitted with the slip ring 7. A signal cable 13 from ultrasonic sensors 11a-11c held to a sensor rotating holder 12 driven by the rotating shaft 6a is inserted through the inside of the rotating shaft 6a and made conductive to the carrier cable 1 through the slip ring 7 so as to dispense with connecting mechanism such as a flexible shaft heretofore used to connect an electromagnetic motor and the slip ring to each other, a rotatory- driving flexible shaft and a flexible cover for protecting the signal cable.
