INFORMATION COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, AND RESETTING METHOD FOR ITS CONTROLLER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reset the controller only without stopping the function of a communication device in the information communication system constituted by connecting a plurality of nodes, each consisting of communication device and a controller through a general transmission line such as an Ethernet. SOLUTION: A function code indicating the resetting of at least the controller 60 is added to communication data. A means which analyzes the function code included in the data sent by a nonmultiplex general transmission line and a reset signal generating circuit 55 which outputs a reset signal to the controller 60 in its node according to an analysis result are added to the communication device 50. Even an information communication system constituted by interconnecting nodes 1 (2 and 3) where there is only one communication device 50 can be structured so that only the controller 60 connected thereto can be reset without stopping the function of the communication device 50 and its maintenance is made easy.
