<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To emulate a plural kinds of mouse functions of a general OS only by an operation on a pressure sensitive tablet by providing a utility function for realizing the plural kinds of mouse functions only by a touch operation on the pressure sensitive tablet. SOLUTION: A computer system on which a general OS 12a having a GUI function is mounted is provided with a pressure sensitive table 14, means for selecting an input mode to be executed from a plurality of input modes by using the mouse of the general OS 12a, and means SA and SC for informing the OS 12a of the selected input mode. Then, the general OS 12a receives a mode switching instruction request, and executes the moving processing of a cursor following (x) and (y) input coordinate values when this request is a mode switching instruction to a floating mode. Thus, it is possible to emulate only the movement of the mouse cursor only by an operation on the pressure sensitive tablet 14.</p> |
