PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a generation of useless shopping by describing an already stored food materials in an optical reading sheet, selecting a specific menu from a menu file and then outputting a shopping list for food materials to be purchased from a food material list necessary for the menu. SOLUTION: A cookable menu is displayed on a touch panel and a shopping customer 1 selects a favarite menu and inserts a sheet 11 in which food materials 12 stored in his (or her) home and their amounts are described into a reader 13 in a reader/writer(R/W) The R/W reads out the contents of the optical reading sheet 11 and temporarily stores the stored food materials and their amounts (M1) and the number of persons. Since cooking materials necessary for the favarite menu and the amounts of the materials per person are stored in a data base, the necessary food materials and their amounts (M2) are calculated by a processor by multiplying the amount of each food materials by the number of persons and each lacking food materials and the calculation result of its amount (M2-M1) are outputted to a shopping list 18 by an output device 17. |
