<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain miniaturization and cost reduction by dispensing with a coupler for guiding one part of a transmission signal to a mixer by using the reflected or transmitted signal of the transmission signal in a waveguide as a local signal. SOLUTION: An oscillator 1, mixer 2, circulator 3 and primary vertical radiator 4 have parallel conductor boards on their upper and lower surfaces and constitute a non-radiation dielectric line. Then, the modulated transmission signal from the oscillator 1 is guided through the circulator 3 to an antenna, composed of a dielectric resonator 18, radiation window and dielectric lens 19 as a transmission signal TX and guided to the mixer 2 as a local signal Lo, while reflecting its one part on a passive element 5. Moreover, a signal RX, received by the antenna, is guided through the passive element 5 and the circulator 3 to the mixer 2.</p> |
